creation of a false ceiling;
creating a ceiling.

These methods can effectively solve the problem of waterproofing the bath, one of them is considered more complex, and the second is easier. Consider each of the options.

The false ceiling, in short, consists of special beams on which the boards are inflated, and already all standard layers of the roofing cake are laid on these boards: a vapor barrier layer is attached, then a layer of insulation is laid, then there is waterproofing material, and after that everything is sewn up with boards .

The advantages of this ceiling system are obvious, and most importantly - it is easy to install (you can do all the stages of work yourself). Such a structure of the roofing cake will retain heat perfectly. The insulation will not get wet, since all the rules are observed, there are layers of steam and waterproofing.

A floor ceiling is an easier way of insulation and waterproofing. Usually a simple flooring is made of boards, then a vapor barrier is placed, and a heater is placed on top.
